Pasjel Products Review

My first blog ever and my first product review goes to..... PASJEL products! I'm sure many of you have already heard, seen and even tried the products as it has been spreading all over the social networking sites thru the online sellers. Online sellers have been aggressively selling these products since it became a "hit" here in the Philippines. Why did it become a hit? Simply because Filipinos are fond of beauty products that whitens the skin. Now let's talk about the products.....

ABOUT PASJEL

Pasjel is a skincare product from Thailand owned, managed and endorsed by Jajaa who is a Sony Music artist in their country.  

Pasjel, with its tagline "Bring back your baby skin" offers products specially made according to your own needs. 

• For the FACE:
• CHERRY TENDER (Night Facial Cream, 10g) - reduces the cause of acne, freckles and melasma
• FLUFFY FAVOUR (Multifunctional Cream, 30g) - softens and moisturizes skin, protects skin from bacteria, and soothes damaged skin
• SUN FIGHTING GEL (with SPF 50 PA+++, 10g) - helps protect your face from UVA and UVB rays, leaves no stain on the face, and enhanced by vitamin E for a smooth and bright skin
• SILVER PINK (Facial Mask, 20g) - revives skin cell, moisturizes, tightens and smoothens facial skin, lessens the appearance of wrinkles

Among the varieties of Pasjel products, I have only personally used three of them. Namely: Mildly Smooth Axillary Cream; Cherry Tender Night Facial Cream; and Everbright Blue Body Cream.

THE REVIEW

CHERRY TENDER NIGHT FACIAL CREAM:

I used this product every night. And I use this as a moisturizer or simply as a night cream since I don't really have acne on the face. Though occasionally during PMS or several days before my period starts, one or two pops out on my face. And when it does, I apply the cream directly on the pimple. Well, aside from applying it all over my face, I still add a little on the affected area. I have to say, the pimple doesn't subside overnight, but it helps a little when used continuously. It kinda fastens the drying up of the pimple but not as expected.

The before and after pictures attached to Pasjel's advertisements really catch the attention of people, leaving them curious and interested about the products, and making them want to buy. Just like what happened to me. Why? Because it shows drastic results - from a very pimpled face to a smooth face with very light traces of pimples.

• WHAT I LIKE:
• I love the sweet scent of Pasjel's Cherry Tender. It smells like cotton candy!
• My face easily absorbs the cream after application. So there is totally no greasy feeling after, unlike other face creams.
• It smoothens the face. You can feel it even after your first application, and with prolong use, it will make your skin soft and smooth to touch.
• It lightens dark spots on the face with continuous use.
• Mild and safe to use even on sensitive skin.

• WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
• It is very expensive. I bought mine online for PHP650.00, though with free shipping. 
• The packaging is too small for its price (10g). Since I use it every night, it only lasted for two weeks or so. But to make it last for that long, I only use small amount of the cream.

• WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN?
• Probably. If the price will drop to 50% off. LOL. 

MILDY SMOOTH AXILLARY CREAM:

I bought this cream for the purpose of whitening my underarms. Let's face it, most Filipinas have dark underarms. Causes can be the deodorants we use (yes, some products make your underarms darker even when they claim to make it lighter), shaving (it also causes chicken skin), hormones, sweat, and more. Since I'm one of the lucky persons who doesn't grow hair on the armpits, I'm guessing that the causes of my dark underarms are deodorant, hormones and sweat. And so when I came across Pasjel's Mildly Smooth online, and read the testimonials of the users, I immediately contacted the seller to whom I ordered my other Pasjel products.

I honestly am lazy to apply creams or lotions on my body. And I sometimes skip a day or two of applying the cream on my underarms. But still after a week or so, I noticed that my underarms whitened a little and chicken skin was lessened. 

I apply the cream at night after I shower. I also tried using it as a replacement for my deodorant, thinking it will fasten the results. But it wasn't really a good idea because it doesn't prevent sweat and odor.

With my experience of using Mildly Smooth, I can say that satisfying results can be achieved by using it religiously and continuously.

• WHAT I LIKE:
• I love the sweet scent of Pasjel's Mildy Smooth. Just like the Cherry Tender, it smells like cotton candy.
• It is easily absorbed by the skin with no greasy feeling.
• It lessens chicken skin and smoothens the underarms with continuous use.
• It lightens the underarms with continuous use.
• Mild and safe to use even on sensitive skin.

• WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
• It is expensive. I bought mine for PHP450.00, though with free shipping.
• The packaging is small. A 10g of Mildly Smooth when used regularly will only last for three weeks.

• WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN?
• Yes. If the price will go down to PHP300.00 or less. I think PHP300.00 for three weeks is fair enough. 

EVERBRIGHT BLUE BODY CREAM:

Among the three products that I have used, the Everbright Blue is my favorite! Not because of its whitening effect but because of the soft and smooth feeling after application. I have tried many lotions and creams before, but they were all greasy when applied, especially when I start to sweat. It gave me that icky feeling which makes me want to run to the bathroom and take a shower. With Everbright Blue, i have never felt that uncomfortable feeling.

Like I've said, I'm quite lazy on applying creams or lotions on my body. Just like when I used the Mildly Smooth, I sometimes skip a day or two of applying Everbright Blue. But still, I am satisfied with the results. It may not have done drastic changes when it comes to whitening my skin, unlike what the advertisements and testimonials of the users say, but I am happy with how it softened and smoothened my skin. And what's really important for me is that it doesn't leave my skin sticky and greasy all day long.

• WHAT I LIKE:
• I love the scent! It is very calming and relaxing.
• The skin quickly absorbs the cream after application. It doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feeling, unlike other creams and lotions.
• It is very soft and smooth on the skin.
• It lightens the skin with continuous use.
• Mild and safe to use even on sensitive skin.

• WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
• Again, for me it is quite expensive for PHP650.00, though with free shipping.
• Since it is a body cream, the packaging is bigger with 100g. I wanted it to last longer so I use smaller amount for my whole body, and it lasted for roughly three weeks only. 

• WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN?
• Definitely. Because Pasjel's Everbright is my favorite body cream so far. But I just hope that its price will go down even for like PHP550 or less. Or better if the packaging will come in bigger size but with the same amount. Hehe

FINAL VERDICT

Pasjel products are quite expensive, especially for its size. Probably because it is being imported directly from Thailand. Of course, taxes and shipping fees add to its cost, making the selling price here in the Philippines higher. But considering its effects on the skin, I believe if only the amount will go a little lower, it is very worth it. 

To be able to experience satisfying results from Pasjel Products, it must be continuously used for several months. Even if the product claims visible results in 1-2 weeks, it still depends on how we use the product and on how our skin will react to it. Remember, we have different skin types, and the effect of the product differs from one skin type to another.
